Established in the heart of Champagne, on the prestigious Côte des Blancs, our estate is located in the ancient medieval town of Vertus, classified as Premier Cru. We carefully cultivate our 10 hectares of vineyards and craft each cuvée with family knowledge passed down for six generations.

Our History: In 1954, Charles Pougeoise decided to become independent. He left his father Henri's vineyard and started his own business with just 53 ares of vineyards. In 1976, driven by the desire to create his own champagne brand, he left the cooperative and founded Champagne Charles Pougeoise. As a Récoltant-Manipulant, he dedicated himself to producing authentic and typical champagnes, thanks to his own facilities.

In 1991, Sandrine Herregods, Charles's daughter, took over the management of the estate. Together with her husband, she continues the family tradition with the same passion and craftsmanship. Charles expanded his clientele by supplying prestigious institutions such as the Sorbonne, the Faculty of Medicine of Paris, the Faculty of Law in Malakoff, the Paris City Hall, and various French embassies worldwide.
