Champagne Jeangout

WINEMAKERS FROM FATHER TO SON
Champagne Jeangout, a family business founded in 1928 in Rilly-la-Montagne, makes its wines according to the traditions of the Champagne region and its know-how has been passed on from generation to generation. Didier Jeangout, the current owner of the estate, works year-round with his son, Romain, the fourth generation of Champagne Jeangout.

THE DIAMOND, SYMBOL OF OUR HISTORY
Since 1928, Jeangout's Champagne labels have been in the shape of a diamond.
It is a symbol of eternity, synonymous with our expertise. But above all, it represents a precious stone, created by nature, cut and crafted with delicacy and passion to become a symbol of rarity and quality.
A symbol of rarity and elegance. These values are reflected in our vineyards and in our champagnes. Therefore, in 2020, we decided to modernise our symbol and put it on the label.

OUR CERTIFICATIONS
Our champagnes are produced from our vineyards that have been H.V.E (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certified since 2015, and in organic conversion since 2019. In 2023, we are proud to announce our first organic harvest, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and the preservation of our terroir. Just a few more years of patience before you can taste our organic champagnes!

"My passion for nature made me ahead of my time, even before my certifications. It was to preserve the natural ecosystem of my vineyard. Throughout the year, we maintain vegetative hedges and grasslands that ensure a balance and shelter for and shelter from supporting fauna.
We cultivate 4 hectares of vineyards, exclusively located in the Montagne de Reims. The clay-limestone soil brings a lot of minerality to our wines, making them light and fresh.
