Maison Pierre Paillard was founded over 200 years ago in Bouzy. Today, it is run by brothers Antoine and Quentin Paillard, the eighth generation of winemakers. The Paillard family settled in Bouzy at the beginning of the 18th century. Historically, the family included shepherds, then innkeepers and schoolmasters. The forebear Antoine Paillard acquired several vineyard plots in Bouzy in 1768, became a winemaker, and started the family tradition.

Our family estate, a historic vineyard of 11 hectares, is located in the legendary Grand Cru terroir of Bouzy. The chalky soil and southern exposure produce a generous yet balanced Pinot Noir with unique structure and refinement.

Since 2016, we have been working on defining the "Antoine et Quentin" Paillard spirit. The following criteria have become essential to our signature: transitioning our vineyards to organic farming, respectful soil practices to achieve high ripeness of the vines and quality yields, and extended aging in oak barrels.
