The family business Champagne LAVAL-LOUÏS was founded in 1972 through the merger of the estates LOUÏS Philippe and LAVAL Marius, both of which have been part of winemaking families for centuries.

As a récoltant manipulant (harvesting and processing our own grapes), we work in harmony with nature in the management of our vineyards and the production of our wines. We place great importance on respecting the vine and its terroir in our viticulture practices. We maintain our soils without the use of chemical herbicides and use grass cover or ploughing, depending on the needs of the soil. Treatments against diseases are applied sparingly. The upkeep of our vineyards is in line with nature and what it offers, in tune with the rhythm of the seasons. These practices have earned us the Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) and Viticulture Durable en Champagne (VDC) certifications.

Our wines mature according to the same philosophy, in harmony with nature. It is nature that determines the character of our champagnes. With great patience, we rely on nature to craft our wines without chemical products. Our bottling takes place in the summer, after a minimum of 10 months of aging in tank. The bottles then evolve for 3 years in the heart of our cellars before you can taste them...
