Le Goût du Terroir presents an extensive and high quality champagne tasting of 3 terroir Champagnes. Quality and respect for nature are priority!
Your host, Hugues Durville, speaks French and English. You will have the opportunity to buy champagne bottles on spot after the tasting.

We came to Reims to learn more about champagne and this was the PERFECT tour! Hugues, besides being a great teacher, was also very friendly and welcoming. We felt like home and could spend time on each champagne, ask question and learn a lot about regions, grapes and champagne in general. Highly recommend this tour!

Very nice testing and schooling in champagnes from small houses. Can only recommend this tasting, Hugues is fantastic and very passionated about champagne and has a lot of knowledge, it takes place in private sorroundings, what makes this even cozyer.

A fantastic experience learning about the different terroirs and grapes of the champagne region, followed by a detailed and educated tasting of three different champagnes. Our host’s (Hugues) knowledge and passion about champagne combined with his very educational presentation, literally opened our eyes as to how fascinating the process of champagne tasting can be. An then this unique cellar….don’t miss it!

Unbeatable experience, highly recommended before doing the tour to the "champagne maisons" in Reims. Hugues is a champagne lover and connoisseur and you can tell by the passion he shows in his tasting. My son and I learned a lot and had a great time. The three champagnes we tasted were excellent and a fourth one we bought was also perfect. Hugo and his wife are very warm and friendly people, it was a pleasure to meet them. We will repeat the experience as soon as we have the opportunity.

The tasting was super well organized and the perfect kick-off to our stay in Champagne! Our whole group got a super experience and a good baseline of knowledge that made our subsequent tastings much more interesting. I can only recommend this!

Ietwat verassende maar hele persoonlijke en leuke proeverij. Dit is geen wijnhuis maar een liefhebber met veel kennis over champagne als hobby. Hugues ontvangt je in zijn huis en vertelt gepassioneerd over terroir en cepages. Vervolgens krijg je 3 prachtige en hele verschillende champagnes te proeven met een helder verhaal. Het was niet helemaal wat we verwacht hadden en het is ook niet goedkoop maar als je wat anders wilt dan een commercieel verhaal echt een aanrader!!
