Description
It reminds us of the tradition of sabring, inherited from many regiments, including Napoleon's hussars. To celebrate their victory, they opened bottles of champagne with the flat side of their sabre. A symbol of joy and victory, the sabre underlines the magic of champagne. Come and take part in this tradition in the Domaine's beautiful park.
This great activity includes an ENGLISH guided Tour of the cellars, initiation, bottle of champagne, a tasting and a presentation of the Sabreur diploma.
- A visit that allows you to explore part of the House's six kilometres of cellars and discover the main stages of the production of our champagnes. A tour of the vineyard will complete your visit if the weather is good.
- An initiation in the practice of sabering with a technical explanation, in Canard-Duchêne park.
- A tasting of the sabered bottle 🍾
- From March 31st 2024, a weekend supplement of €3 per adult will be charged on site (on Saturdays and Sundays)
- Animals are only allowed in the reception area and boutique
